Whew...it was a warm one this weekend!
Ray and I planned on getting up early on Saturday to run 10 miles, but early ended up being 8:00...ooops! It was a little toasty when we got out there, but we still got it done!
We hadn't had enough of the heat, so we golfed 18 at the golf course where our new house (hopefully) will be located. Tons of fun!
Sunday morning we got up and biked to our favoratie coffee joint, The Filling Station. Round trip was 23 miles..wasn't too bad and my hiney doesn't hurt too much after those long rides, which is good!
At 6:00/7:00pm, we had softball games against the best team in the league and won both!! :)
What a wonderful weekend!
What made it even better is our friend, Danielle, made the trek from Omaha and helped stage Ray's house. I felt bad having a great time outside playing while she made the house look nice and presentable, but she has an uncanny knack for these things that I sure don't possess! I enjoy running 10 miles and she enjoys spiffying up peoples houses, so it works out nicely. The house looks great, too. She did a terrific job and we can't thank her enough!! We had one showing on Sunday, so hopefully they liked her handywork as much as we do!! :)
